Should the Jester stay or go?

Your chance to influence the Council. There’s been a planning application to allow the Jester on the Green to be retained. Whether you agree or not, you can influence the Council’s decision by sending an email to

    A positive contribuiton to the area. It should stay.

    Its lovely and there are too few statues anyway or did the council offer us a replacement maybe?
    Anything that enhances the rather uninspiring little park must be good and people stop to look at it and photograph it all the time. We live very close to the Jester and everybody in our place thinks its good fun.
    Anyway why does the council turn down an application that a big majority voted for?
