A group of local residents are organising a new festival, aimed at bringing the local community together to have fun.
Themed loosely around food – growing, cooking, showing and eating - KINGSDOWN HOMEGROWN is inspired by the old street fair and traditional village fairs.
Like to get involved? Come along to our planning meetings, check out our festival page (see the links on the right ==>>>) where we’ll put regular updates or contact Helen on 942 2922 with suggestions…and put the date in your diary!

This sounds great - it’s in the diary! Please let me know if I can help in any way on the day (e.g. setting up / clearing away).

Hi Lorna - thanks for the support. Suggest you ring Helen to offer help if she doesn’t already have your contact details.

The “links to the right” have vanished, as has the page that used to be there!

Rick, I’m not sure if you’re seeing the same as me. I certainly still see a list of links on the right hand side of the page: About KCG, Aims of the Group etc.
There’s no specific standalone page about the festival but you can find all of the related posts by searching for homegrown in the search box at top right.
At the time of writing the most recent post is Kingsdown Homegrown - a date for your diary.
